wow the last 6months I have stopped burning $$ on crap,hobbies and just straight in the trash.I now save 55% a week and hit 73% today.The goal is to save 65% every week like a boss.2 years ago my neighbor gave me riches man in Babylon and i liked it but it blew my brain the second time I read it back in February.
I make good $ for no collage 70,000 after tax married and split bills with wife,no kids just to dogs.House will be paid off in 9 years.My boss bought me a 2014 loaded gmc truck (not for work,just don't ask for raise).yet I only kept maybe $1000 in checking and $200-$1500 in savings.
Now I have 6 months of living saved and can put $425-$1000 in savings and 2% into 401k.
big goal is to save 50k and buy a 4 plex or 2 houses to rent out.I was a licensed plumber for eight years so I can put in sweat equity and have hook ups on plumbing supply's.
I feel so good seeing freedom for the first time .I is so much better seeing cash in the bank compared to another gun,kayak,tools or what ever .Why did it take 34 years?????? I'm long winded I just want to say thank you to MMM,listen money matters/bigger pockets and all Y'all on this forum that Ive been going over for 3 moths.
