It seems that each of the bloggers did an interview on a specific topic. Not sure how helpful this product would be to someone that has read a lot of these bloggers, but you never know what information is contained. I think a sample lesson would be great and give an idea of what exactly is offered.

I think this is actually a psychology trick to get you buying? True, some people won't be able to afford it, but many are not -wanting- to afford it. By telling you that you can get it for free if you explain why, it gets you to think and realize you are in fact not that poor. I could be wrong though and reading too much into a genuinely charitable offer, but I seem to recall something about this being a technique. Maybe someone else knows more?

I'd be interested, but not sure I'd pay for it.  Didn't I read somewhere that JD is the one who really put this together?  That alone probably makes it good.  It was his writing who got me really interested in PF, but GRS has become a quagmire of quackery since he left.  With the exception of maybe 1 or 2 writers, it's truly, truly awful.  ...And the regular commenters are some of the most spendthrift, complainypants, debt-ridden, excuse-y people out there.

If it included a YNAB license (doubt it) I think I may consider buying it because I am still in the free trial period and I am waiting for another sale!

Hit up the YNAB reddit.  I scored a legal license key there last week for $15 from a guy who got his key in a Steam sale bundle and was not planning on using it.

did you ever hear back from him?

Yeah, I got the email this weekend. The offer is the basic version of the course. It includes the book and a whole bunch of resources and worksheets, but not the videos :(

The first section is all about creating a mission statement. Saving money doesn't count as its own mission, you have to have a reason for saving the money. Good stuff. I'm taking my time and working through that now.
