Mutual Fund tool
« on: April 11, 2014, 09:26:14 PM »
Has anyone seen this before?  It's a tool to compare mutual fund costs (with some assumptions) and the impact of the costs (loss of return on fees paid over the years).

I found it to be interesting and really eye opening when I put in a couple funds I have and one of the Vanguard index funds.  I keep hearing about the concern regarding the fund fees, but never really grasped the impact.   I finally watched the Frontline special The Retirement Gamble and it really made me start thinking about this.   I'm just starting to really look at where my investments are etc.

But my question is has anyone seen this and do you think that the calculations are reasonable?

Thanks!

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
