Mustachian Adventure: useful link and ideas
« on: September 04, 2014, 08:10:44 PM »
It seems there are many backpackers on here and a search didn't reveal any info on a kindred spirit named Ray Jardine. Ray has been making his own backpacking equipment for years and is a strong DIY advocate. He sells kits for you to sew your own backpacks, tents, etc.

You may enjoy reading about his adventures as well on his website: http://rayjardine.com

Coincidentally, I have a coworker who is friends with him. Ray is a frugal, DIY guy from way back.

Ray's been mentioned a couple of times:

Definitely an interesting guy every backpacker should know. Thanks for the reminder!
