Mustache in the NFL

http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/20934/ravens-guard-john-urschel-is-living-big-in-a-tiny-car

I know we have seen this type fo thing before but I always like to point out a mustachian when I see one.

My favorite comment: "I know I can live on $25,000 a year."

SO awesome to see this!! As someone who lives on less than $25k a year and drives a used compact Nissan, I approve this message.

I've had nearly that exact conversation with myself about parking lots/spaces.  Even in Europe, my Echo is smaller than many (or most) cars and I can fit in spaces that others have to pass up.

As someone who has a Masters in Mathematics and has been published I'm sure he has a huge leg up on the majority of the NFL players when it comes to understanding the effects of his spending and what he can do by saving. I mean I don't even understand all the words in the title of his latest published paper "A Cascadic Multigrid Algorithm for Computing the Fiedler Vector of Graph Laplacians." Now off to find that paper....

When you decipher it please tell us what it means. :-) I rather like him since it is evident he has highly functioning brain cells and will have a career after the NFL with plenty of money to live on while he pursues mathematical theory.  Other than the four basics and a touch of algebra math was never one of my favorite subjects.

Alfred Morris, running back for the Redskins, is known for driving a 1991 Mazda 626.

From all the publicity, a few years ago Mazada offered to refurbish his ride and basically turned it into a "new" version.  I'd assume he's still driving it.

Thanks for posting this!

For those who enjoyed this story from the NFL, you might also enjoy this from the MLB:

This is the opposite of the Josh Smith's of the athletic world, the actual Smith recently claimed it would be "harder" for his family now that he was only making $6.5M per year, instead of the ~$16M he was making prior.

Some sports blogger defended his statement, claiming that "once you buy a house and pay your taxes, your money is practically gone".
