Laid Off T-20 Days
« on: February 08, 2013, 08:49:21 AM »
At the end of this month I'll be laid off my current job.
But thanks to this forum and this site it's not an emergency situation. :) It's not ideal, I'll end up dipping into my savings for an unknown period of time, but I have savings to dip into. And that's pretty awesome.

That said, if anyone knows anywhere hiring in the Madison, WI area I'd love a tip ;)

But here's to being able to handling not-ideal situations!

Thanks so much! I'm trying to look at it as a good thing. It wasn't/isn't my dream job so there's not reason not to take this opportunity to look for something better in a more interesting place. :)

Good luck. Last time I got cut I found a much better job. Sometimes it's the spur you need to expand you horizons. I'm sure that will be the case for you too.

What do you do? My brother lives there and may know of something. Of course he's moving out here to the Bay Area in May for a job :)
