Hike one of the long trails. The AT for example. Might give you a long time to sort things out. I hear you can hike it alone and you meet other folks doing the same trip. Everyone's hiking speeds varies so you may see people multiple times b/c one of you took a day off of the trail to rest or do laundry. I'd like to go bicycle the many long canal paths in Ohio. Alas, still have a job and responsibilities.
