What are some of the journals where the author cuts a lot of spending and simplifies their life over time?

Looking for some inspiration :)

I don't write journals. But....

We have gone from spendypants to semi-mustachian (still work in progress to go full-mustachian).

We used to spend > $1500/month eating out + > $1000 in groceries. This was for 4 people.

This year (2020), it has been < $400 in groceries per month + < $500 in eating out for the whole year so far.

So yes, I can confirm it is possible :-D.

Nice! Groceries is our biggest vice to.

Only two people, but we have gone from $1000 -> $500 for groceries. Still a lot, but working on bulk purchasing and sales now.
