iPhone / android app feedback
« on: December 14, 2013, 11:16:44 AM »
I'm presently a few business opportunities for developing a couple of apps and would appreciate any feedback you may have on an idea.

For those that read a lot., its not uncommon to have several books being read at once. One feature of the "reader tracker" would be to allow you to set a goal of how quickly you want to read a book, calculate how many pages to be read per day, time spent reading, projected duration (in reading time spent and days spent reading) until book is complete, produce charts and graphs to this effect, send reminders, log books read, make suggestions of other similar books, etc.

Would anyone find this useful?  Would it be worth $.99 to you?

Would you have to input this information or would it grab it automatically (assuming amazon cloud can provide it).  If I had to put all the info in, I probably wouldn't use it, but then again, I don't read as much as I want to anyways.

You would either scan the barcode or type in the isbn. The rest it would do for you. Depending on how much you'd want to geek out, you could have it time how much reading you're doing and start and stop pages so you could get a velocity per day or even per page.
