Husband got the job!
« on: October 03, 2013, 10:39:34 AM »
Thankfully my husband applied for this new job when he did since he got laid off a couple weeks ago. He went to orientation today and starts next Tuesday. He'll be making like $70 less/month, so no big deal. 4 10hr shifts, which is pretty cool, AND IT'S DAY SHIFT! That is huge!

We are still debating on moving to the trailer after my mom purchases it (apparently one of the owner's owes some back taxes and when his name got added to the trailer, the taxes followed..?). We like the idea of us living super close to work, but I'd have to wait for him to get home before I could go to work (so, reduced hours, but not having to worry about child care), but OTOH, living beside my parent's means I could go to work at my normal time (or earlier with Christmas season coming up) and if we wanted to have a baby free day, we wouldn't have to drive 1hr round trip to drop him off.

It's a really hard decision to make. Gah.

Thanks everyone!

I think we are going to move to the trailer. Our schedules could change quickly and having a grandparent near by would be a huge help.
