After reading a lot of articles over the years about dollar cost averaging, I decided to just set it and forget it!  I didn't panic in 2008 and just kept on doing the same thing.  I knew the market would go back up eventually and that I was buying more shares with my money because they were lower. 

But, I did have a coworker who sold everything at the bottom and put it all in fixed accounts after I told him not to do it and why!
