A while back a came across a specific calculator on this site and just cant find it again.
You'd enter you after tax hourly earning and the monthly cost of something. The calculator would spit out the amount of time worked over the coarse of different times for this and also the amount of time needed to work and save to produce the same monthly amount currently paying to earn off the interest.
