GOP Lawmakers Consider Sharp Cuts to 401k Contributuion Limits
« on: October 23, 2017, 09:32:11 AM »
Is this too "political"? How would a cut from $18k/year to $2400/year strike you?

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/20/us/politics/republicans-tax-401-k.html?action=click&pgtype=Homepage&region=CColumn&module=MostViewed&version=Full&src=mv&WT.nav=MostViewed

The Tweeter-in-Chief responded via Twitter saying he wouldn't be touching 401ks.  But the very fact that, in their quest to give tax breaks to the very wealthiest Americans (and corporations), the GOP would consider attacking the tax-deferred vehicle that Americans rely on most for critical retirement savings, says all you need to know about their priorities.

I'm a red panda
