Sam's club said membership cost would be where the football landed at the 2 minute warning in the Superbowl and it turned out to be at the 8 yard line. But I guess it expires on the 17th, so only a couple days to get the deal if you like sam's club membership that is.

How do you do that?  We get it free as well since we share a relative's card.  I called and told her about the deal though to try and save her some money.

They always have deal from time to time where you pay for the membership and they give you $45 gift card back.

We had a deal on our Discover card that gave a $45 credit back (albeit two months later) when you purchased a membership. Costco was about the same distance in the other direction, so we decided to give them up and give Sam's a try. Pretty comparable, but I do like free!

I do admit I like Sam's a lot.
The Costco we have here is over crowded and I avoid going there unless I need to.
I've been spoil by FREE membership to Sam's the last few years. We rotate between my wife and I.
Whenever a membership expire, we just wait until the next FREE deal comes along and sign up again.
