Finally I got my mother to sign up for ebates

For those who do not know ebates is a cash back online program.  For years, my mother shopped (over shopped, really) at qvc.com.  I kept telling her, if you are buy it why not get cash back but never would she sign up.  But today she asked if I want a shirt from there, sure and I tried once more and she did it!  I'm shocked.  She is one of the most un-mustachian people I know, but at least she is getting something back.

I've been a member since May 2008 and have gotten $975 cash back in that time, just buying what I already was going to buy.  The big money has come from hotel/airfare purchases, but the little amounts add up too.  I got my mom signed up, but I don't think she remembers to go through it.  Good job with your mom!
