My go-to is now Winking Owl Shiraz from Aldi, $2.59 per bottle. I previously tried all of the "Two Buck Chuck" wines that are $2.99 at Trader Joe's, as well, but I'm sticking with the Winking Owl now. Also sometimes buy their Moscato for a friend who only drinks sweet whites.
I really like the Winking Owl Pinot Grigio. I think it's $2.89 at our closest Aldi. Plus DH jokingly refers to it as "Flirtatious Owl" which makes me smile.
