Cricket Wireless while traveling in Canada

I have the $50 plan.  It looks like from viewing their FAQ, i can do everything i can here in the USA, in Canada, without doing anything.  Any Americans have any experience with this and can you confirm?

Tested it, worked just fine, though I was at times in a remote area so no phone signal at all but otherwise it worked great.

Didn't see this before, but I can also say Cricket worked great in the parts of southern BC we went to. I think it was over Roger Wireless or something like that.
