Title: Creating a facebook page for my blog
Post by: FireYourJob on November 25, 2014, 01:07:15 PM
I've watched a couple of videos and it seems they are suggesting you have to do this from a personal account you already have.

I don't want my blog facebook page tied to my personal account.  Has anyone done this and is that truly the case?  How do you work around it?

You need to create another facebook account. For that, you'll need an email address you haven't yet used to sign up with facebook. It's often easiest to create one via gmail as the name of your business, and use that email address to register a new account with facebook.

Once you have created a new facebook account, use that account to create a new facebook page for your business. You can even assign Admin roles, and have your personal facebook page be an Admin for the facebook page you created with your other email address, so you don't have to switch back and forth between facebook accounts every time you want to make an update.

I hope that made sense.
