Bumper Sticker
« on: April 27, 2015, 06:25:29 AM »
I just got done doing a road trip. I was behind a semi-truck that had a sticker on it that said, "Don't Like Trucks? Then Don't Buy Stuff! Problem Solved".

Has anyone else seen this while on the road?

I haven't seen it before, though it sounds like the angle is more of "Here's why you should like me" than "You're a wasteful spendypants who should cut back."

I bet it was meant that way but there is no reason we can't read it our way.

Are there a lot of people out there that don't like semi trucks?  Seems like a strange staring premise to me.

In rush hour traffic around here it's common to see transport trucks in the middle of a three lane highway doing 20-40 kph under the limit with vehicles passing them on both sides.  I suspect the trucks don't want to drive in the slow lane because people merge in that lane?  They have cultivated some enmity for this common practice.
