I totally dig the Wilson at the bow!

How will you propel it? Is the plan to take down the tent and hammock then use oars?

Electric motor! You can kind of see it here. Propels this amount of people at a little faster than two people hard paddling a regular canoe :)

This is amazing and inspiring!  Can you give us more details?  How is the plywood fastened to the canoes?  Is it very stable to walk around on the platform?  Can you pack all of this onto one vehicle?

awesomeness! I too when i read the title was ready to facepunch someone as i am trying to sell our Summer Cabin in the woods! haha. I like your idea for a substitution though!!!

I would be completely terrified of rolling off the side while I was sleeping!  But I would really enjoy it during the day :)

WOW this is a very cool idea. It would be nice to live on this for a few days/week. Eating only what you fish and other snacks that you brought. Important not to forget water bottle tho.
