I noted that book dates from 1993. Wonder how much has changed since then. This is one of those things I think I can honestly say I will never do, but it's kind of interesting all the same. Not 150 pages of interesting, but that's what I have the forum and testimonies of the dumpster divers here for.

I'd borrow this book from the library and read it, although I can't see myself every actually dumpster diving for food. I am fascinated by it, though. Also, there are some pretty interesting Freegan blogs out there. I don't remember what they are (I went through a Freegan blog reading phase), but I found it incredibly fascinating to scroll through pictures of what they got dumpster diving.
