Just looking for some advice if anyone has been in my position..

I am a web designer... I do some freelance work on occasion but it is not reliable and is usually word of mouth, I get next to nothing online via SEO etc. It is a crowded market.

I would like to explore the idea of setting up a website which can facilitate orders to sell online, and act as a middle man effectively.

I was thinking about perhaps selling something like coffee, as I love it and have an interest in it. But I am not set on or restricted to that, I am open to all sorts of ideas and would sell most things if it generated me some extra income.

Can anyone offer any advice as to how to plan for, and achieve this etc.

Maybe look at fiverr for advice?

Hi Simon,

Do you mean in terms of setting up the website, or a mentor for the business?

Or do you mean for finding web work? If the latter the amount gained always seems very low for the work involved.

I am determined to get a side hustle that is more profitable, somehow.

I also thought about a news aggregated website relating to a particular subject area, but not sure if that is also something that is crowded and unnecessary. Would hope a lot of hits would generate ad revenue. I just wish to do something, a side project to work on.
