Anyone use saveup.com?
« on: September 01, 2013, 12:55:58 PM »
It aggregates you investment accounts and debts in one place and keeps track of savings and debt paid off.  It also has challenges which in MMM world are a joke (i.e. deposit $200 in savings in 14 days).  The part I like is that daily you can enter 8 times to win prizes for free and in the last 3 months i have won $100 cash and $100 trader joes gift card.  Cost nothing only 10 seconds a day to enter.  Also you can use accumulated points to get magazines for free or other discounts.  Though those discounts only lead to spending.

I am so uncomfortable with giving these websites personal information. What happens if they are hacked? I just received a new Visa card (two years early) because some merchant was hacked and they got all the credit card info. Now I have to change auto pays on this card (acct number was changed). I am actually trying to minimize my exposure to a lot of this stuff. For instance, I only use a certain card to buy online, I don't give sites like this my info, etc. It's probably a lost cause at this point, but be carefule to closely monitor your accounts for fraud.

I used my points to get 10% off my t-mobile bill and a free magazine.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
