I’ve been many times. It’s a beautiful country and curios of where you live, where is safe, etc.

 I used to.  I lived in Bogota is barrio Chico next to parque El Virrey. This is the area all the US embassy workers live, it is as safe as things can get. Not super cheap, but cheaper than the US. Traffic is a nightmare, they use pico y placa where you can only drive your car certain days of the week.

I think living in la Calera right outside Bogota would be nice.

I may consider Medellin as well. Not sure I’d want to spend $1,500 / month on an apartment but need a safe place
