Despite what the news would like you to believe there are no real economic indicators pointing toward a recession. Best to look at the broad strokes and not get caught up in headlines.
No one expects the Spanish* recession.

* Or other country's.
Except recessions don't happen in a vacuum. We won't continue adding jobs, increasing wages, increasing housing prices, sustain strong consumer spending and wake up tomorrow to a recession. We might as well try cutting down a tree with a herring. ;)

I’m not looking forward to the roller coaster, no.

But hell, Trump has been destabilizing shit for a while now, so it’s not like we didn’t see this coming. So I guess we just hang on.

 You want a recession vote for Biden. Then your equities will really crash

I'm a little excited.
I've been waiting for the market to tank every since Trump became president and it hasn't happened.
Dumbest thing I did was moving all my IRA funds from the index to a safer fund. That's dumb-nest on a scale of 10.
Ever since then I haven't contribute to to market at all except for the yearly IRA contributions.
I've got a whole lot of cash to dump into the market as soon as it bottoms out.
As someone else mentioned already, we've been waiting for the so-called recession so lets get it over with.

I get half love trump and half hate trump just like it was with Obama, but you do realize he’s a very pro business president right?

I would not be bothered by a recession. I have a secure government job and am early in my career. If anything, a recession would make me better off.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
