Common acronyms (FI, RE, AA, SWR …)

I'm just going to be lazy and link to someone who has already done it (thank you Jeb whoever you are). Feel free to PM (private message) me if you don't see one and I'll add it below.
AA – Asset Allocation
PM – Private Message

Lets be honest, DH is dick head.

I love this one: TEOTWAWKI

There seems to be an increase in people appearing on the forum who are getting themselves ready for The End Of The World As We Know It.

REIT real estate investment trust.
I was going to do VTSAX, VTIAX, etc, but people really should just google things that aren't invented on this forum.

Definitely thought DH and DW were "Da Husband" and "Da Wife," now saying it as Dear Husband it doesn't grammatically make sense most of the time when people use it, so I've just gone back to Da Wife.

This definitely applies to people from Chicago.  Ditka.

You have to think of it as a proper noun for it to make sense.

I'm personally a bit anti abbreviations. There are just too many to keep track of that have different meanings in different settings, and it usually takes me about the same amount of time to just type something out as it does to remember what abbreviation I should use. Might just be me though.
