A really lovely video about how we look at life
« on: May 09, 2013, 08:03:05 PM »
Saw this today, and though it's a very slow build through the first four minutes or so, I found the ultimate point so touching and true.  I think this video speaks to what a lot of us are aiming for in terms of quality of life and independence.

The text is excerpts from a commencement address by David Foster Wallace (who, sadly, committed suicide in 2008-- sad given the beautiful outlook on life evident in this speech).

Really worth sticking out the first few minutes to see where it's going.

Thanks for sharing, that's a great message about empathy in there.
