Hi all,

I've been a lurker on this site since June 2015. Before finding this site i lived in Hoboken, NJ (a very hcol area) I lived basically paycheck to paycheck for 3 years. Part of that was due to my lower income at the time and part was following my friends out partying every weekend.Anyway in June i found this blog moved back home and in the last 9 months have paid $34,060.00 to my student loans. this is my only debt.  The interest rates were 8.64% (gone) 8.3%(gone) 6.6% and 6.5%. My monthly payment went from $580 to $256. I still have about $21k left but hoping with my next few commissions they will be gone. I am also moving back up to the NYC area with a completely different mindset due to this blog and forum. So thank you once again!

Thank you! This place is a wealth of knowledge especially for someone who in the non virtual world has no one to discuss these things with.
