My wife and I received the first 2 stimulus checks quickly via direct deposit, we file married filing jointly and qualify for the 3rd payment, but have not received it yet, and IRS get my payment tool says, "You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page. We will deposit your payment to the bank account below." When my wife uses the IRS tool is says, "Technical Difficulties, We apologize for the inconvenience but this service is currently unavailable. Please try again later."
I heard if I have not received the deposit by yesterday, then they will send it in the mail. The checking account they have on file is still open and correct and it was what I used to file my 2019 return, but when I filled my 2020 return I was owed about $100 from the feds and I used a different checking account this time, not sure if that matters, any ideas?
