Thanks for sharing! I think biking brings out the child in me... that feeling of doing something for the pure joy of doing it. I find myself smiling for the majority of my ride each day :D

I think this is the reason a lot of people are scared of biking on roads:

Studies have proven that many drivers perceive bicyclists as objects and not human beings

It's true, and drivers outnumber cyclists which doesn't help the pre-existing inertia.
