1040.com is killing me right now.

Oregon has a kicker credit this year, which I get, and 1040.com is not giving it to me.   I know that I get it.  The Oregon department of revenue website tells me I get it when I put in my info and when I calculate it using my Form 40 numbers and their instructions I come up with the same number they give me.  But 1040.com will absolutely not register it.  I've tried everything. 

As it stands right now I'm money ahead to simply pay turbo tax 60 bucks for deluxe (so they'll process my schedule B) and 40 bucks to file my state return, which I don't wanna do.  Not really looking for advice or nothin.  I've just been messing with this for 2 hours and am frustrated.

EDIT: if i wasn't obvious TurboTax is giving me the kicker.

The state will adjust your refund to include the kicker if you don't. It will take about two weeks longer to get the refund and they will send a letter saying they adjusted for the kicker.

Hmm interesting.  Will have to look into that.  I was under the impression that in Oregon at least the kicker is no longer actually included in the refund but applied to next years tax liability.  I guess if they'll calculate it automatically that is just what would happen.

Have you tried one of the cheaper alternatives to TurboTax like FreeTaxUSA or TaxAct?

I use FreeTaxUSA for my federal and for my state use my state's free e-file. Not sure what Oregon has but maybe they have a free state e-file that will allow the kicker credit.
