I discovered this show a couple months ago and have pretty much binged through it while doing dishes, sewing, etc. Amazon prime stopped at season 7 though, and it looks like there were two more seasons.
There have been a couple times where at the end of the show, a couple was told that by paying x per month, they'd have all their debt paid off in y amount of time. But, when looking at the debt owed in the beginning few minutes, there was no way that x * y would pay off the debt. So, maybe some had been eliminated in that time (selling a car, whatever)? It just seems like that was the case on episodes where they didn't sell things off though.
I have an ex who was horrible with money, and considering I got collection calls for him until I canceled the oldlandline number when my son turned 18, I'm sure he's on a path worse than many on the show. Makes me glad to have 100% sole control over my money.
