I found this today and thought it was simple and helpful to give a general idea of what happens when you withdraw regularly from savings that continue to earn interest:

I like it!  It is simple and easy to understand, and gives me exactly the information I need.

For real world considerations, FIRECalc seems more useful.

The best calculator on calcxml is the "how much do I need to save", IMO.

I'm a little puzzled on how the Social Security calculator works.
