This one is called UK tax, but is actually the main UK forum on here. A lot of the UK posting goes on in the journals though.

Yep, we use this area as a general UK discussion area (which is what UK posters originally requested, but the forum admins called it 'UK taxes' instead). If you post something here UK peeps will definitely see it and respond.

If you're more looking to see what gets talked about, a lot of the discussion between regulars happens in people's individual journals, as UK Dancer said. There's a stickied post where many people have posted links, you can also find them in people's signatures or by going to the 'Journals' section of this forum and looking for ones with 'UK' in the title.

Elsewhere, I think the main discussion space is Reddit, in /r/FIREUK, and /r/personalfinanceuk. I'm sure there are other spaces dotted around (MSE?).

A new rule came into place a while ago that means people with under 100 posts cannot see our signatures.

coolshades, we do both (sea_saw and I) have links to our journals in our signatures, but I don't think you can see them yet. You can certainly find them by visiting our profiles, however :) (or, again, by visiting the Journals section. Some UK journals explicitly state that the writer is living/working in the UK.)
