I thought it might be quite useful to start a thread on tips when moving money into UK platforms, particularly for first time DIY investors. The ones that I know about (mostly for new customers only) are:
- AJ Bell - £101 cashback when opening a minimum £10k funded S&S ISA through Topcashback,
- Fidelity - Up to £141.40 when opening an S&S ISA through Topcashback or £84.16 for a SIPP
- Anyone via Tesco Bank - not tried this myself but a friend moves money into her Tesco current account and earns Clubcard points when paying money into her investment accounts via her debit card. She amassed over £500 in points last year from doing transactions that she would have made anyway.
Are there any others, or any refer a friend type schemes for the likes of Vanguard or other popular platforms?
