So people can find UK journals to follow. One link (no spam) to Mustachian-related UK blog also acceptable. Please just post the link and your age and location and general situation (if you would like) so people can easily find journals relevant to them - let's keep things simple.
I'm 27, married, an artsy freelancer, pregnant with our first baby, and currently living in London.

Good idea sltd. I like supporting UK journals and need to read more of them.
Mine is in my signature below. I try to cover my FI pursuits as well as more general life calamities to provide some light relief.
I’m 40, male, single, live in the south east, work for megacorp, am generally quite useless in so many ways and am finding the more I learn the more I realise I don’t know.

I don't have a journal but I do have a blog charting my journey and tools/techniques used here http://www.retirementinvestingtoday.com/
I'm currently 45 years of age, currently live in the South East of England and became Financially Independent (FI) in July of 2016. From no hope we achieved FI in 8.7 years. Current net worth is £1.2M or more importantly EUR1.4M. I say more importantly as after I finish my one more year we are moving to the Mediterranean (Spain or Cyprus still to be confirmed). We expect that will be early summer 2018.

What a great idea!
I'm 28, Software Developer living in Newcastle. Married to an American who hasn't found his career yet in the UK. No kids, two cats. Blog is a lot of discussion about the fact we spend a lot of money on food and booze, wavering about whether we should be in the UK or US, and learning to track expenditure.

I follow some of the journals but what's clear is that we are definitely short of UK FIRE bloggers. I have a list of the good ones (for me) on my blog but any new ones would be gratefully received.

It’s such a shame that people are embarrassed to talk about money, it’s almost like we are more comfortable about talking about debt than investment / saving. I’d be tempted to start a blog as a way to record what I’m doing and hold myself to account, but I’d probably prefer start either a podcast or YouTube channel, I think that’s what’s missing most in the U.K., unless someone can recommend a good source of U.K. based advice and comment via those media?

https://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/journals/playing-with-fire-is-getting-burned/ (https://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/journals/playing-with-fire-is-getting-burned/)
I post sporadically about my relationship with my in-laws and my entanglement with their car-crash finances. I'm ex-forces, an engineer, maybe four or five years away from FIRE. I lean towards the cheaper, rantier, pro-DIY ends of the spectra.
-
Mine's here: https://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/journals/balancing-two-mortgages-two-jobs-living-for-today-and-saving-for-tomorrow-(uk)/
I'm 31, female, and have recently bought a flat in Oxford, a city that is very HCOL in terms of housing, but cheap in terms of other expenses. With help from my parents I bought a 2 bed place, and I'm sharing it, the income from which (plus a bit more) is going back to my parents. My stash is nil (poured it all into the house purchase) and FI seems like a distant dream, but project Grow Stash #2 starts THIS MONTH.
I work doing database stuff but in the non profit sector so not mega well paid. I'm aiming for FI in order to be more flexible/picky with work, rather than necessarily ER. I'm also in the artsy geeky category. Also, gay.
I haven't yet worked out how to write an interesting journal so I've been checking in occasionally and writing whatever is on my mind!

Just started this one today, I'm 28 with a net worth of 64p, and on target to FIR at 70. Hopefully those numbers will shift somewhat.

Mine's here: https://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/journals/on-the-road-to-fi-(uk) (https://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/journals/on-the-road-to-fi-(uk))
I should probably have called it the "long" road to FI, as on reflection my journey began back in 2007 and should end around 2030 - but it may be that some can relate more easily as a result. :)
-
Just started one too:

I'm 34, aiming for FI in 6 years but that is very much 'best case' - a lot of challenges ahead!

Hi all, another recent joiner here! 23 year old engineer based in Hampshire. Not sure on my plan yet, but trying to figure it out :)

Hello, I was sure i had posted in this thread ages ago, but apparently not.
MarcherLady, 46 and a half, DINKs with a clown commute, living on the Welsh border. Sort of maybe, almost FI but OMYing it until 2020 cos we're scaredy cats.
I've removed my old journal link, the current one is in my signature.

I started my journal earlier this week, on the day I made my first investment.
I'm 23, M, single. I graduated in Graphic Design last year and soon after started my first job in Marketing. I live in the East Anglia.
I'd like to FIRE before 40. I haven't done any projections yet, but I have my fingers crossed.

Right then - officially going for it.
https://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/journals/supersaving-my-way-to-the-good-life-(uk)/
At least if people are struggling to sleep, I can give them something to nod off to!
Hope to eventually be helpful for others.
42,F, single, Midlands and aspire to be a dog walking, gardening, lady of leisure by 50.

I'm 33, F, married with one cat.
My plans are not yet solid. They're barely even liquid, but I want to be FIRE'd long before my state pension kicks in. (Currently at 68, but I'm working on the assumption that I will never get one if things carry on like they have been).
