Zero Food Cost for 30 Days (net zero)
« on: August 29, 2016, 06:06:33 PM »
I need to fix my food spending, eat better and clear out junk we don't need.  My idea is to eat mainly what we already have at home and make EXTRA money to pay for any food expenses.

This is cash from activities im currently not doing.  For me, that means eBay or craigslist to sell stuff we don't need.  I'm disabled so options for food prep and making cash are limited (can't work).

The other difficulties include disliking cooking, a non-mustachian love of fast food and a weekly dinner get together that benefits my well being more than it costs.

Not being a complainy-pants, just showing I have room for improvement plus some hurdles to overcome.  Take care!

Proposed rules:
1)  Eat food you currently have at home

2)  Create new (extra) income to pay for any new food purchases

3)  Optional:  calculate cost of food already purchased and make EXTRA money to replace that as well

4)  Pay attention and see if you learn anything about your eating and food spending habits

5)  Decide if the new income method is worth keeping permanently, save any extra money made
