The lesser talked about Reward Credit Cards
« on: June 30, 2020, 05:35:26 AM »
I am currently browsing around to compare the prices of travel between different popular travel sites and kind of stumbled upon a small but modest offer on Priceline of $100 reward after spending $1k type of deal.
I am now interested in things like this because I`ll be pretty much done with the usual bigger CC Rewards in the next year or so, and would like to make a thread about this for all of us who are looking for these hidden gems.

I was just approved for the chase freedom card, it offer 5% back on groceries for an entire year on up to I believe 11-12K in spending. Plus No fee and I get 200 bonus cash credit if I spend 500$ in the first 3 months. A real great deal, especially the low spending.

I too am interested in hearing about other credit card recomendations. I am not so interested in the travel cards these days.

These can be region-dependent, but I like the BB&T Spectrum Travel Rewards, PNC Premier Traveler, BBVA ClearPoints, and Regions Cash Rewards.

Also if you can find a BOA Cash Rewards card offering $200 back on $500 - that's a pretty good one.

I just got a Citizen's Bank credit card that gives 10% back on groceries, up to $50 rewards a month, through May.  No annual fee.  1.8% cash back on all purchases.

That is a great deal!  spend 500 on groceries a month get 50 $ back, I will have to try for that one. Can also buy gift cards if you don't spend 500 a month or stock up on pet food. Does it include warehouse stores? Most of the grocerie catagories do not include Costco and the like.
