Starting 10/2016 - $310,000 (rough estimate since we still have a few accounts left to be merged)
11/2016 - $328k
12/2016- $347k
Jan - 2017 $358.7k
Feb - 2017 - $367.2
Mar - 2017 - $382.2
May - 2017-$395.0k

June - 2017- $405.2k

Broke $400k! Seems like each $100k gets easier; trying to add the next $100k in 1 year or less from today. It truly is amazing how your attitude can determine your savings. For example I still don't feel or act "rich" (like almost everyone on this forum) so it would probably surprise people I know IRL to know my net worth. After all, I'm still that crazy girl that bikes to work half the time to save a few bucks and refuses to buy coffee at the office because it's $2. Firmly convinced millionaires are made by making all of these small compromises to save money - can't wait to prove my theory correct in 5 years or so :)

Apr-17  255,873
May-17 263,835
Jun-17  268,100

Due to the oddities in how I am paid, I receive my June check in June, and my July check in June. So my increase only consists of the two checks, and not contributions to retirement accounts. I'll save that for the July period. Once I have a few more months under my belt I'll make a new graph too.

Still aiming for 300K by end of the year.

Added news, we just had a Baby Girl!!! Healthy, fat, and happy.

Wife is threatening to return to work full time after her 3 months are up.  This is good for us financially as she would be more satisfied professionally and escape "Mommy Fog" as well as make a great FT income (with wonderful benefits) and accelerate our retirement staching, but this would occur at the cost of increased stress at work and home for both of us as we do the Dual Income with Kids daily juggling act. We will see...

2015 DEC:252k

2016 JAN:260k(+8k)
2016 FEB:281k(+21k)

2017 APR:427k(+11k)
2017 MAY:436k(+9k)
2017 June:449k(+13k)

+$81k this year! Aiming, for just under 100k in any given year of savings. Though, I am really only tracking worth gains, not savings directly. (So it includes gains/losses in the market) Given 6 month(s) left, and (19k) more to go, I should hit this goal!

401k and both IRAs all maxed.

NOTE: May, June and July are all poor months, I had a job change and nearly 3 weeks off of unpaid vacations! I think I still did pretty well! Things will get churning again at regular speed by the time the AUG update rolls around.

Joining late to the game!

2017 progress:

Jan 17: $287k
Feb 17: $301k (partially accounted for by 2016 bonus)
Mar 17: $304k
April 17: $316k
May 17: $322k
June 17: $326k

Automatic savings of $1500/month in my 401(k), and usually deposit $3-4k into Vanguard per month, right after my paychecks hit.  I could probably stand to increase that.

Absolutely love the numbers I'm seeing here.  You can feel the positive energy rising.  I'm currently in the Race to 2M club and pumped for the Race to 3M.  You're all coming soon.  What you're doing now is all that's needed to to keep going.  It actually gets easier.

Our month to month increase in numbers aren't as impressive as others here. We save 64% of income. Below includes our unchanging home valuation of $215k.

With a baby in our future we need all fingers crossed to hit $500k by the end of 2018. All things considered, not bad for 2x 29 year olds maybe.

1/1/2017   $344,362.45
2/1/2017   $347,032.21
3/1/2017   $350,233.21
4/1/2017   $357,725.55
5/1/2017   $360,458.57
6/1/2017   $376,115.15
7/1/2017   $381,944.58

Huh after taking a break from the forums I guess we're solidly in this race now even if you exclude home equity.

I keep losing track of this thread. It never occured to me to post inside the gauntlet. Clearly an application of dumbassness. So, here are the numbers!

1-Jan-2011:  $82,795     (29 years old)
1-Jan-2012:  $106,303
1-Jan-2013:  $147,328   (found MMM mid-2013)
1-Jan-2014:  $212,595   (slow conversion to a fully MMM-ite)
1-Jan-2015:  $264,308   (first year maxing 401k)
1-Jan-2016:  $299,216

1-Jan-2017:  $371,623
1-Feb-2017:  $379,968
1-Mar-2017:  $402,448
1-Apr-2017:  $409,886
1-May-2017:  $416,851
1-Jun-2017:  $421,488
1-Jul-2017:  $430,504

I've always been a saver. Before MMM I felt pretty smug pushing 15% into 401k and maxing my IRA, paying cash for a fancypants car, and squirreling away money for a house downpayment. I can't fully remember, but I think I found MMM while googling "am I saving too much money!?" Savor the irony of that, if you will.

I'm not sure RE is for me, but finding this community has made FI a reality. At this point, barring black swans, I could coast to $1m at traditional retirement age. Or keep pushing, and have a great nest egg to pass to the next generation. Whoop!

Riding somewhere around $410K ATM, pretty good pace.

May not hit $500K before we go into PT mode, at which point we'll slow dramatically, but we'll see.

Q2 was good to us and we are up just over 25k this quarter.  However, I'm expecting that Q3 will be a tough one.  We have some unexpected expenses that have come up.  I'm not even sure where we will be in a year.  We have talked about calling it quits and taking some time to relax and enjoy life for a little bit, who knows.  Recent events have really gotten us thinking about what we want to do with our lives.

End Of
2014-Q1:                $55,471
2014-Q2:                $78,319            (+22,848)

2015-Q3:                $151,957          (+5,961)

2016-Q2:                $233,784          (+15,853)
2016-Q3:                $255,000          (+21,216)

8-2016: $369,217
9-2016: $373,735 (+$4.5k)
10-2016: $369,721 (-$4.0k)
11-2016: $385,057 (+$15.3k)
12-2016: $399,209 (+$14.1k)
1-2017: $408,813 (+$9.6k)
2-2017: $427,041 (+$18.2k)
3-2017: $425,204 (-$1.8k)
4-2017: $432,660 (+$7.4k)
5-2017: $439,707 (+7k)
6-2017: $445,394 (+5.6K)

Steady as she goes.  In other news, our net worth has increased by more than $113k in less than a year.  This is from investment gains and our efforts to pay off the mortgage on our 2nd home.  A year ago I wouldn't have thought a gain like this possible.  Of course I realize it could go the other way too.

As of this morning, we finally passed 300k on personal capital. The truth is it might actually be a little higher estimating jewelry and different items in our house (e.g. my wife's wedding set, my wedding ring, etc). I can't wait to get to 400k...should be there in the next year.

Hopefully, better next month.

We're almost to $500k, but I'm going to join anyway.

NW: $456k, Invested: $434k

We should get up to a $500k net worth in the first part of next year, assuming nothing overly exciting happens in the stock market.

I spent the afternoon creating a much-too-detailed spreadsheet, projecting all expenses and investable assets into January 2019 (my foreordained date at which I can quit my biglaw job and do something more chill).  If I'm good at controlling spending and the market doesn't do anything particularly crazy, I'll cross the $500k line in September 2018

Starting 10/2016 - $310,000 (rough estimate since we still have a few accounts left to be merged)
11/2016 - $328k
12/2016- $347k
1/2017 $358.7k
3/2017 - $367.2
5/2017 - $382.2
6/2017-$395.0k

7/2017 - $419.3k

It's crazy how when you just stay the course you start seeing major gains. I remember putting my first $1k in a mutual fund and it took me a whole summer of working 2 jobs busting my butt to save that (oh to be 18 again). This month I saw a $20k gain between high savings rate and investment gains...that's INSANE! Not every month will be this good (likely very few will be) but exciting months like this help keep me motivated :)

Well, I did a long-overdue review of startup #1's rental portfolio and my $21K stake is now worth at least $35K, maybe $37K (I would have guessed 25-30K). Its seller-financed loans have such rapid amortization (high principal payments) that it basically has $0 monthly cash flow, but (flipside) we're paying off thousands in principal each month. My share alone is building almost $800 in equity each month, and there are some early signs of appreciation in our transitional target area that could dramatically increase total returns.

Between that and overall portfolio returns, we're a bit over $440K, which is a nice bump since my last review. Also pretty happy to tell DW that $34K of that is in her name, after only a couple of years in the workforce at a comparably lower wage and probably $20K in contributions.

(FTR, I would prefer to think of it all as one pile, but she worries about not contributing enough so I like to do this as an affirmative thing)
