Race from $3M to $4M
« on: June 10, 2018, 03:21:35 AM »
For those who have crossed the $3M mark, either pre or post FIRE come join us as we track our growth to $4M and beyond.

Myself I just crossed the $3M mark today. I fired about a year ago.

Who else wants to join in?

Haha. You wasted no time.

I cant join you yet.... maybe never if we are doing the counting in USD.... but in Pacific Pesos (AUD) I shouldn't take too long to get to $3M, just as long as we are calculating total NW. If we are speaking investable NW, then pffft Ill keep my nose out of here.

I believe $3m is the end of the race. Unless of course you have 10 kids.

DH has a defined benefit pension that I never include in our TNW calculations. I suppose if I did, we could join, but I'm more in the, "Holy shit, how did that happen?" camp. We have enough; there's no need to keep reaching for the stars, er, dollars. If it's okay, I'll probably just peek in once in a while to see how y'all are doing.

I don't think we're racing anywhere fast at this point -- FIREd so no more work income coming in.  But if housing prices continue to rise at the rate they have been, who knows.
