I remember assembling models being easier. The Plague Champions cape was a pain in the ass.

I just traded off 6 models I didn't need - for 38 that I could use. Yay!?

Got news that we will be working overtime at work so I may not find time during the week to work on models.

Got most of the plaguefester warband together. It will make it easier to do the detail work. I will have to come up with an alternative for posting pictures.

Was down with a stomach bug for the weekend. Will get back to work on the crawler soon.

My attempt with texture paste and inset designs failed horribly. Been busy working through my bits boxes for an alternative basing strategy. Should still add variety to the army.

That's good. I should have attempted to base my Death Guard because I never really did that with any other army I have.

Printed some bases for the Death shroud Terminators. Assembled the crawler. I can go back to painting the models now.

Spent the day hanging out with my friend putting models together. Worked on the Necrons because the Death Guard are ready for more airbrushing.

Been sick with COVID for nearly two weeks. Also started fiddling with the Stable Diffusion AI art generator.

I feel like I got dropped in an alternate universe. If I understand correctly, you're a gamer and you're building models of some characters? As a hobby? And the title "Stack of Shame" refers to some unfinished models that you want to finish? Sounds cool. So how much of your stack have you finished since you started the thread?

Some pics would be really great.

Yes. Let's see if I have a pic that will work.

Nope, pics still too big.

I may be crazy (not going to argue this!) but tomorrow I'm going to attempt to paint from start to finish (minus bases) 80 models...

No real reason, aside from a personal challenge. Small models with a simple color scheme, and I'll be mostly using speed paints, but no airbrush.

Basing will come later - I have an idea for something I haven't seen done before.

I succeeded in getting the pictures I wanted from A.I. Now I have to figure out how to make properly sized decals to apply to my Titan. Which means I need to get my Titan done.

1. I survived painting 80 minis in a day!

2. I just finished another 10 Plague Monks. I hope to have a battle ready 1.2-1.5k Skaven army ready by the release of AoS4.

3. I've been building up some foam terrain for the LGS - they keep having 5-7 tables used, but really only enough terrain for 3-4 good layouts. I'll get it decent, and hopefully someone else will take it the last few coats of paint/details. (I've already put days into this)

4. Display cases finally purchased. Gotta finish the terrain so I can work on setting up the displays...

5. Those Adepticon reveals... other than Skaven vs Stormcast, quite a bit less than I'd hoped.

I dry brushed some gold on the brass for highlights on the shield generators. Need to use gun metal color paint to clean up the slips and mistakes made during painting.

I finally tried out the airbrush I purchased over a year ago. Came with a battery compressor. I think it only had half a charge, because I only managed to get 4 models base coated, and I think they need a second coat.
Might hook up my construction compressor so that I can do more - barely worth the hassle of cleaning it for that amount of painting.

Fired up the resin 3D printer. Finally got it set up right after multiple failures. The screen protector on the UV lights seems to have been the problem on getting the platform low enough to pick up the resin.

I didn't expect to find overlap between my interest in FIRE and my interest in Warhammer, but happy to see it!

I haven't painted in a while, and have begun giving away stuff I don't want/need to a friend who is painting models for me.  I still want to paint, but I know whenever I sit down to paint I need like 5 hours to paint a project start to finish.  It always ends up being that I realize it's midnight, but I just have this one more step to do, then it's 1:30a and I just gotta finish this one thing, then it's 2:30a and I have completed the model(s).

I do have some assembling I need to do though, so I'll join your challenge with that.  I have a unit of 3D Printed third-party Sisters of Sigmar for Mordheim.  They're modular, so I need to figure out my warband list before I build them and kit them all out with weapons.  I also have some Privateer Press Cryx pirates I need to get built, which will be for a pirate warband for Mordheim as well.  I will trade my friend the Indomitus half of Necrons to paint them both for me.

If either of you are around Indy and want to learn Mordheim, let me know.  Happy to share my favorite game with newbies.  I'll also be teaching it at Gencon this year, so sign up if you're coming!
