Hi There

What an interesting thread!  I am joining  here on behalf of my daughter...

(my own passive income is $120K a year... )

My daughter is 19 and her passive income (annual) is at the moment $1198 ...

She earns 14K a year as a part time tutor while still in university ...throwing excess cash to shares , LICs regularly...

Here's hoping she will take over this thread by herself one day...:))

Great idea! This will take a looooong time for me. But will be fun to track!

2018 Passive Income was about $500.

Hard to know exactly b/c like others have noted, I haven't yet found where it's stated for the target date index fund in my 401(k). Others were easy to find.
Defining passive income basically as just stock dividends.

So my work changed 401K providers back in October and the new provider doesn't really make it easy to figure out my gains. I started tracking this myself manually. So I'll be updating by the month instead of a rolling total.

2019 Total
$4,015.15 as of 3/15/19

@Mainlander , what are you including as passive income?

Dividends only?   Or 4% of your stock/bond stash?

NOI on rental property?

Dividends, interest earned from savings, and interest from peer to peer lending. Donít think it works out to 4% of my stache, probably somewhere between 2% and 3%.

Ohhhh this is fun!

I'll join in and give an update quarterly in what I like to call "personal fiscal years" (my birthday is at the end of May, so using the start of June as the start of a new fiscal year is very conveniently similar to my actual-years-on-earth).

Passive income is from dividends and interest in multiple accounts.

PFY 2019: $1292.88

Plenty of room for growth. ;)
