One Song: One Improvement

Regularly, we lock the thread and start a new one so people aren't receiving notifications for the rest of their lives.

The idea: You know those tasks that are quick and really improve your day, but you avoid like the plague? This thread supports us to set press play on the song of our choice and move on that task for the duration of the song. Extra Challenge: Whenever we see this thread because someone has bumped it up with a new "go", whoever is on it stops what they're doing, and joins in.

Stuff one might improve, depending on personal circumstances:

*improve minimalism: scan stuff
*improve personal security: shred stuff
*improve environment: put dry dishes away
*improve mood: write a thank you note
*improve body: do pushups
*improve blood sugar: eat some protein
*improve ambience: put the thing back into the storage room
*improve foot happiness: vacuum one room
*improve stress load: wash one unmentionable
*improve floor smoothness: wash one section of floor

Woke needing this strategy, then realized it's November so started the new thread :)

After taking my kid out trick-or-treating last night, I woke to a mess of our costume pieces, papers strewn, etc... Rent cheque again didn't come out of account (only once in the last seven months!) so that has to be written and delivered, etc.

Seu Jorge: Starman
*pick papers up
*set dishes to soak
*pick up rest of floor (halloween into thrift!)

Sue Jorge: Rock n Roll Suicide
*make and start drinking ACV honey drink
*wash dishes

Do You Know: Pieta Brown
*write rent cheque, send kid to deliver

Want to say how happy I am for you that you had extra support on Monday! (referenced in the last thread).  Thanks for starting the new thread.

Thanks, oneday! It was so great to be able to get at certain tasks in the optimal times. The extra support cost us another $40, but what a treat!

Listening to CDs I ripped to be sure there are no skips or errors AND knitting the heel of a sock for the third and hopefully last time.  First two tries yielded a too-short sock foot.

Just back from a trip and haven't totally finished unpacking properly.

My partner is playing guitar downstairs so that will be my background music :)
