/sigh
I'm in, I think. I'm going to try to avoid buying sweets/snacks on grocery trips (or at all, unless DH specifically requests it), and clothes for myself? These are going to be really hard.
I tend to pick up a Lara bar or 3 oz of chocolate covered almonds or a piece of cornbread at the grocery store for like $1 and then eat it on my walk home. It isn't much money or too many calories for each instance, but even if I only do it once a week, that's at a minimum $52 a year I'm wasting.
Clothes... I don't feel like I buy a lot of clothes, but I definitely HAVE a lot of clothes, so I must keep getting them. I just bought another pair of leggings this morning off of Facebook, for goodness sake (which is not great for my uber frugal January, lol). They're lularoe, so comfy, second-hand, and were only $10, but still, I didn't NEED them. I'll take free clothes, but only if I'm getting rid of something else.
I'm not giving up buying all clothes, because we have a 19 month old, and he's going to need things, but I'll make it a priority to check with my friends for hand-me-downs before I buy anything. Everything is second-hand or on clearance anyhow, but again, being cheap doesn't mean I need it.
