Geez! $2 per day? Wow, just not sure how that works. well, maybe an inkling. I just finished Barbara Ehrenreich's Nickled and Dimed. And also Adam Shepard's Scratch Beginnings. While I don't recommend the latter as quality reading material, it does give a first-hand account of living in a homeless shelter. (Both from the library, BTW) Anyway, $2/day is a bleak existence.
I sure hope you are able to ward off sleep while in the office! That could get awkward.
As predicted, I didn't have any expensive desires today, being worn out from yesterday. I cleaned and unpacked half heartedly and chatted with several friends via phone and web meeting. It seems to help to be not only tired, but also distracted from spending opportunities. Well, I did offer to buy my sister a DVD, but not until the fall, for her birthday. That is something I would allow in my low-spend year anyway, though.
