Fire Up the BlendTec in Costco

I've about had it with the VitaMix demo guy in Costco trashing BlendTec through his little sound system every time I walk by.

I've had a BlendTec for nine years - 3,500 on the counter. Nothing is more reliable. I'm an expert on the thing. BlendTec is a better machine and if this pompous VitaMix idiot continues, I'm going to pull a BlendTec out of the box in Costco, grab some produce and a Block Rocker and start broadcasting my own demo, head-to-head. Let the customers decide who has a better smoothie. I'll even throw a hairnet on. Who would know I'm not repping BlendTec?

Seriously, I don't own, nor have I ever used, ether premium blender. That said, I think the Blendtec “Will it Blend?” videos are a real hoot.

Haha - I've never really listened to a VitaMix shill, but maybe next time I see them in CostCo.  I have to admit that I ended up with a Blendtec because I was thinking seriously of getting one or the other, and on that particular day, I walked into CostCo and Blendtec was doing their demos, I was duly impressed and walked out with the machine (this was before they kept them stocked at the store).  Impulse purchase yet, but I've never regretted it for a second.  They're awesome and I believe they're based out of Utah, so almost local to me.
