Which version of TurboTax?
« on: January 10, 2017, 06:00:37 AM »
Does anyone know if TurboTax messed with their versions again this year?  Will Deluxe cover straightforward capital gains and dividends?

If you all remember, they messed it up badly for 2014, fixed it last year, so I'm curious what the story is this year.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but I switched to H&R Block software when TurboTax messed it up and personally I like it better.  YMMV.

I think the Deluxe CD version (not online version) will handle cap gains.

Thanks Jim555.  That's what I got (at Costco) so I should be all set.

This is my vote as well.
