Can someone tell me what line on the tax form the 10% medical expense is based on?

I thought you were right about the 10% (unless you were over 65), but apparently it's 7.5% for everyone in 2017 (and 2018). It's up at the top of
schedule A
, meaning it's an itemized deduction. Here are the
