Letter of Medical Necessity
« on: July 11, 2017, 10:59:23 PM »
So I have back issues. Virtually every medical professional has told me that swimming is a good idea.

My understanding is that I just need a Letter of Medical Necessity from a licensed provider, and poof, I can pay my $5 swimming pool admission fee with sweet HSA monies. Is there anything else to this?

Follow-up question: my sister will soon be a Physical Therapist, but she lives and will be licensed in Belgium. It'd be super easy for her to write me and renew such a letter whenever I see her, but I wonder whether that's just asking for trouble. thoughts?

Sorry to read about your back . . . I would not get the letter from a family member, though. Get it from your regular doctor.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
