Dallas, TX area tax adviors
« on: January 03, 2022, 08:12:03 AM »
Can anyone recommend a good tax advisor in the Dallas, TX area? I feel I have managed my own taxes fairly well during working years.  All income was W2 and in fairly high bracket so I just deferred as much tax liability as I could. We  have $1.2MM in investments. $900k IRA/401K. $130K Roth. $170k after tax non qualified.

We are planning on Fire in the next 2 to 5 years. Current ages are 52 and 47. I would like some advice and planning on how to convert IRA/401 to Roth ladder and shield after tax accounts from capital gains.

I appreciate the help.

The help you seek seems to be directed at federal law. Are there other issues peculiar to Texas? Or could you work with a professional anywhere?

No state taxes in TX. Tax issues would be federal. I would like face to face meeting if possible.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
